Subaru Outback VS The Audi A4 Allroad

  • Brewster drivers are looking for spirited and fuel-efficient performance which is something the Outback offers. While the Audi A4 Allroad has more standard horsepower from is 2.0L engine it is not nearly as fuel efficient with only 30 highway and 22 city mpg. The Outback with a 2.5L four-cylinder BOXER gets 25 city and 32 highway with an 18.5-gallon fuel tank to help keep the adventure going. The Outback is also available with a 3.6L six-cylinder BOXER engine that generates 256 horsepower which is more than the 248 horsepower of the Audi A4 Allroad
  • No matter where the road may take you, you want to have enough room for everyone and everything. The Audi A4 Allroad comes up short with significantly less passenger space and cargo space than the Outback. The Audi only has 58.5 cubic feet of maximum cargo space while the Outback has 73.3 cubic feet. Your back seat passengers will also be cramped with only 35.7 inches of legroom while the Outback offers 38.1 inches
  • Audi is the only other brand that equips all of their vehicles with all-wheel-drive, Quattro all-wheel-drive like Subaru does with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. However, the Outback is ready to take the road less traveled with 8.7-inches of ground clearance and X-Mode with Hill Descent Control for enhanced performance. The A4 Allroad only has 6.5 inches of ground clearance and no comparable off-road performance feature.
  • The biggest difference between the Subaru Outback and Audi A4 Allroad for Yorktown Heights drivers is the price. The base model A4 Allroad is nearly double the cost of the Outback and with nearly half as many features.
  • Subaru Outback VS The Volvo V60

  • An SUV, sports utility vehicle, should be ready for everything you have in mind and the Outback is built for every adventure. The Outback comes standard with raised roof rails with integrated crossbars that fold out when you need to attach roof accessories. The V60 only offers roof rails, crossbars are extra. The Outback can also tow up to 2,700 lbs. and has 8.7-inches of ground clearance to take the road less traveled. The V60 can only tow up to 1,650 lbs. and is much lower to the ground with 5.4-inches of ground clearance.
  • When it comes to long-lasting adventure the Outback delivers the fuel-efficient performance that Westchester drivers are looking for. The Outback has an 18.5-gallon fuel tank and gets up to 25 city and 32 highway mpg. While the V60 has either a 15.9 or 14.5-gallon tank depending on the engine, both of which aren't as fuel efficient.
  • At the end of the day price matters and the Volvo V60 has a higher starting price than the Outback. The Volvo V60 also doesn't come standard with all-wheel-drive which will force you to buy a more expensive trim level since the base model isn't available with all-wheel-drive. The extra features of the V60 will also add up quickly.

Subaru Outback VS The Volkswagen Golf SportWagen

  • Like the Outback, the Golf SportWagen has two powertrain options for Cortlandt Manor drivers to choose from. Sadly both of the Golf SportWagen powertrain options aren't as powerful and the Outback's standard 2.5L four-cylinder BOXER with 175 horsepower. The Golf SportWagen is powered by either a 1.4L turbo with 147 horsepower or a 1.8L turbo with only 168 horsepower. If you are looking for power under the hood the Outback is available with a 3.6L six-cylinder BOXER that kicks out 256 horsepower.
  • When it comes to a commanding grip on the road the Volkswagen Golf SportWagen falls short once again with 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system not being offered on every model and not offering the same level of capability. Every 2019 Outback comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-Mode and Hill Descent Control for unmatched traction and control regardless of terrain or conditions.
  • Safety features are another thing that you will have to pay extra for on the Volkswagen Golf SportWagen on every model except the top level trim. The Outback, however, comes standard with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology on every model and includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and Sway Warning, Pre-Collision Braking, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management.
  • While you may be behind the wheel, you want all of your passengers to be comfortable and have plenty of space for all their belongings. The Outback comes out on top with more headroom, legroom, passengers space, cargo space, and maximum cargo space than the Golf SportWagen.
  • In addition to all of the ways that the Subaru Outback already outshines the Volkswagen Golf SportWagen, the Outback is more affordable with a lower starting price and has more standard features.
